Saddleback Counseling

When people are hurting emotionally or spiritually, the church is often the first place they come to for help. Why is that? The heart of God has always been with those who suffer, making the church a natural place to seek comfort, guidance and practical help in time of need. At Saddleback, we have recruited volunteers from our membership for an intensive 90-hour training module (including an interview with our Pastoral Care Team). This process prepares them to be lay counselors to come alongside hurting individuals and families with compassion and Biblical wisdom. Saddleback's Counseling ministry is free to all.
