Youth Suicide Prevention

This presentation will provide an overview of youth suicide prevention and will discuss the nature of suicide, risk factors, suicide-related statistics, myths, and warning signs focused on youth. Key points of the discussion will include how to assess for lethality, how to manage a young person who is suicidal, and how to gain valuable information on resource referrals.
